**Position Summary**
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of food quality, customer service, and efficient operations. This role involves managing staff, inventory, finances, and customer relations to achieve business goals.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Operational Management**_
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Manage the restaurant's opening and closing procedures.
- **Staff Management**_
- Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule restaurant staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching.
- Address employee concerns and handle disciplinary actions when necessary.
- **Customer Service**_
- Ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements as needed.
- **Inventory & Stock Control**_
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain stock control.
- Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate records.
- Minimize waste and manage cost control measures.
- **Financial Management**_
- Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
- Monitor daily sales and manage cash handling procedures.
- Prepare financial reports and analyze data to improve profitability.
- **Marketing & Promotion**_
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Plan and execute promotional events and activities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the restaurant's brand and reputation.
- **Compliance & Regulations**_
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including licensing, food safety, and employment laws.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
- **Facility Management**_
- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the restaurant premises.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for repairs and maintenance.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar managerial role.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in restaurant management software and POS systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-stress situations.
- Knowledge of financial management and budgeting.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
- A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
