**Objectives of the Position**

The Assistant Manager Supply Chain ASEAN will be responsible for all activities associated with performance reporting of ASEAN Countries, to ensure a consistent high level of performance and focus on continuous improvement throughout the entire ASEAN Supply Chain organization. The Assistant Manager will also organize regular meetings and manage follow up on assigned action items, including coordinate discussion with Hub KL functional topics.

**Main Tasks**
- Supporting ASEAN Director in preparing data analysis, reporting status of countries performance and issues closure
- Review ASEAN monthly KPI reporting as well as other necessary data analysis and reporting to support the smooth and efficient operation of ASEAN countries.
- Work closely with Country Supply Chain Lead to ensure consistent reporting of performance across all functions locally
- Assist Director and/or lead mini project assigned, in quality supervision, management and support for direct and indirect reports involved in the project to ensure all scope of delivery and reporting activities are executed accurately in a timely manner
- Support all Lean / Six Sigma / initiative rollout projects for the ASEAN countries by conducting detailed data analysis to assist in identification of the root cause for operational inefficiencies.
- Work closely with Country and Hub team to ensure accurate reporting of KPIs and to establish a clear understanding of focus area for efficiency
- Perform data extracts using BASF systems and databases. Validate data accuracy and append necessary information to enable generation of analysis reports for ASEAN performance.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and develop solutions together with Country Supply Chain Lead to achieve operational excellence and cost efficiency
- Coordinate regular meetings of the various groups and establish a system for follow up on outstanding action items
- Work with ASEAN country in improving the knowledge database, analyze frequently occurring issues and seek for long term solutions to facilitate continuous learning, development and cross sharing of knowledge throughout ASEAN community
- Assist Director to ensure ASEAN countries services are delivered in accordance with established processes and work procedures and in compliance with BASF policies and local company legal and statutory requirements per BASF guidelines and perform periodical assessment
- Supporting Director to consolidate ASEAN reports for service recipients / management

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management / Logistics
- Minimum 5-8 years in SCM / Logistics area with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in data analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of supply chain management including customer order management, import / export operations, and transportation operations. Strong knowledge of database tools and data query methods. Expert in Excel usage including pivot tables, use of functions, and graphing. Strong organization skills.
- SAP knowledge in TM, SD and WM System are of advantage
