**What's the role?**
- Works within a variety of well-defined and standard R&D techniques, procedures, and practices.
- Supports the Data Analytics team in the design and execution of analytics projects.
- Works with data and technology experts to help execute analytics projects and deploy solutions.
- Develops optimal analytical models that address the business requirement, with acceptable levels of accuracy.
- Writes efficient code that incorporates best practices in that technology.
- Supports the design and delivery of analytics projects, within or cutting across different business units in Shell.

**Job Requirement**:

- 2+ years of experience in a hands-on analytics or research role
- Advanced university degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Quantitative Finance, OR, etc.
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Experience in any of machine learning techniques
- Sufficient experience in the any 1-2 of the following specialized analytics tools and technologies (including, but not limited to)

1) SAS, Python, R
2) PowerBI, Spotfire, Tableau, QlikView
3) Process Mining - Celonis, PY4PM, PafNow, Mint, Process Gold
4) Strong skills in SQL
