Accounts Assistant

**Job Summary**:
The Accounts Assistant supports the finance department by performing various administrative and accounting tasks. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Financial Record Maintenance
- Record daily financial transactions in accounting software.
- Maintain and update ledgers, accounts, and financial records.
2. Invoice and Payment Processing
- Prepare, verify, and process invoices and payments.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
3. Bank Reconciliation
- Assist in reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies.
4. Reporting and Documentation
- Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and statements.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
5. Audit Support
- Assist during internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
6. Compliance and Policy Adherence
- Ensure all financial activities comply with company policies and regulations.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and practices.
7. General Administrative Support
- Handle general administrative tasks related to the finance department.
- Respond to queries and liaise with other departments or external stakeholders.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role (fresh graduates may be considered).
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Mature, self-motivated, disciplined, Passionate, work credible and reliable.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
**Education**:
- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Accounts Assistant: 1 year (preferred)
**Language**:
- Mandarin (preferred)
- Bahasa (preferred)
