Infra Project Manager- Banking Sector

**Job Title: Infra Project Manager**

**Experience: 5+**Years’ Experience.

**Job Purpose**
- PM is to ensure the Infrastructure requirements of the project is delivered and completed on time, within budget and within agreed project scope.
- Liaise closely with key stakeholders on the project progress and ensure the desired results and objectives are achieved in the most efficient way and meeting project requirements.
- To plan, coordinate and monitor the works executed by various parties involved in the delivery of the Infrastructure readiness which include 3 rd party vendors, T&I Product Line engineers, Solution Architect and Application teams.
- To prepare and provide relevant documentations required for the successful implementation of the project which include Project Timeline, Project Progress Update Reports, Testing Reports, Change Order and Handover Documentations

**Qualification**
- Degree in IT is preferred
- At least 5 years’ working experience in Project Management
- Familiar with Project Management Standards (PMBOK), ITIL

**Competencies**
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) and strong executive presence.
- Excellent Analytical thinking
- High level of knowledge and understanding of the Maybank businesses and IT Technology and Solutions

**Description**:

- Finalization of the scope of works prior to Project Execution
- Coordination of the works execution depend on T&I Product Lines who are also responsible for the day to day BAU operation support. Planned activities for projects are often disrupted by BAU operational and ad hoc issues.
- No automated tools or system for PM to do project tracking

**Accountability**
- Perform a thorough review of the approved Work Order/Service Request Work Order and confirm the scope of work, implementation timeline and strategy
- . Deliver the Infrastructure requirements of the Project
- Plan, coordinate and monitor the execution of works done by Project Team which include various parties involved in the delivery of the Infrastructure readiness i.e. Third Party vendors, MSS Product Line Engineers and Application Team
- Prepare Change Order for any variation identified in the Project Scope

**Supporting Activities**
- Arrange a meeting with the Project requestor, MSS Product Line Engineers and Solution Architect to clarify and validate the project requirements
- Arrange kick off meeting with Project requestor, T&I Product Line engineers and Solution Architect and provide approved baseline Schedule of the Project Implementation
- Arrange weekly/bi-weekly Project Updates with Project Stakeholders for status updates, escalation, risk and issues resolution and mitigation
- Work closely with Project Requestor, Solution Architect on the variation works and submit to Project requestor for approval

**Outcome/ deliverables**
- Agreed scope of work and timeline prior to project kick off
- Project on time, on budget and within agreed project scope
- Project on time, on budget and within agreed project scope
- Approve re-base lining of Project Timeline to include the variation works activities

**Financial Perspective**:

- To ensure the scoping of the project, costing are following the approved Work Order/Service Request Work Order. Any variation to the scope, project baseline, costs must be reflected in the Change Order. Execution of the works shall commence upon approval of the Change Order by Project requestor

**Customer Perspective**:

- To ensure progress updates, additional costs, re-base lining of projects, risk and issues are highlighted and agreed upon by Project requestor.

**Business Process and Initiatives**:

- Work closely, coordinate and monitor the execution of works done by Project Team which include various parties involved in the delivery of the Infrastructure readiness i.e. Third Party vendors, MSS Product Line Engineers and Application Team to ensure customer demands and expectations are met.

**Talent Engagement**:

- To attend relevant in-house / external classroom training that is relevant to the job description i.e ITIL, PMP

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM14,500.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Banking Sector: 2 years (required)
- Infra Project Management: 2 years (required)
- Project Management Standards (PMBOK): 2 years (preferred)
- ITIL: 2 years (required)
