**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, resource availability, and capacity constraints.
- Monitor and analyse production performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate effectively with various departments like engineering, production, purchasing, QAQC, and sales to ensure everyone is aligned with production goals.
- Manage inventory levels to balance supply and demand, prevent stockouts, and minimize excess inventory.
- Utilize production planning software and tools to facilitate scheduling, capacity planning, and material requirements planning.
- Communicate production plans, progress, and issues to relevant stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
- Regularly review and update schedules to adapt to changes in demand or unforeseen circumstances.
- Estimate and secure the necessary materials, equipment, and labour required to fulfil production plans.
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot production bottlenecks and delays.
- Develop and implement solutions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and meet deadlines.
- Continuously analyse production data to identify opportunities for process optimization.
- Collaborate effectively with various departments like engineering, purchasing, and sales to ensure everyone is aligned with production goals.
- Prepare and submit status reports on production progress and performance metrics.
- Assist in regular stock-taking and in-process materials.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, and inventory management within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, trends, and production metrics.
- IT savvy with the ability to adapt to new technologies and software tools to enhance production planning and control processes.
- Knowledge of ERP systems preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 added value

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,800.00 per month
