As Lalamove Malaysia continues to expand - the team is now seeking an out-going, energetic and detail-oriented individual to join, in our People Operations team. If you want to be in a role that makes an impact on the business, this is the role for you You will be responsible for providing all-rounded support to the Malaysia team to ensure the smooth running of people related topics with a mindset to provide high-quality HR and admin services. This role requires someone highly energetic with excellent people, administrative, organizational and IT skills.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- ** Payroll**: Ensure smooth processing of monthly payroll for a headcount of 150+ employees, and coordinate necessary statutory contributions.
- ** Compensation & Benefits**: Ensure that compensation practices are following current laws and regulations. Conducting salary and labor market research to define benchmarks and best practices. Manage the performance and salary reviews.
- ** People management**: Manage the complete onboarding and offboarding process for all employees including the administrative work and necessary reports to the government. Workforce planning / Own and enforcing all people-related local standards (annual leave, bonus structure, insurance, etc.).
- ** Compliance & Reporting**: Conducting periodic audits, preparing, and presenting reports for government submissions. Assist in month-end closing by working closely with the Finance team.
- ** Welfare**: Manage staff welfare & benefits i.e., group insurance claims, social security claims, welfare reimbursement and other occasions.
- ** Company standards**: Always maintain updated company frameworks and SOP on people management in general. Maintain, update, and ensure accuracy of all HR records, systems, policy, procedure, user guides, and internal policies.
- ** Administration**: coordinate and organize company events (annual dinner, country/regional meetings, etc.). Assist in all-round office administration including but not limited to procurement of office equipment and supplies, filing, office equipment maintenance, stationery, and pantry’s supplies.

**What you’ll need**:

- Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business Administration or HR management.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in HR ideally gained from a start-up or similar organization.
- Strong knowledge of local labor regulations, HR operations and local recruitment specifics.
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Amazing attention to detail, and proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, including being adaptable to work with a variety of personalities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to prioritize, work autonomously and manage time effectively.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
