**Key Responsibilities**:
- Maintain and implement as necessary the Revenue Management system in Revenue Department and undertake regular monthly audits and review to ensure standards are being met.
- Monitor group and transient business thresholds in accordance with selling strategies in Budget & Forecast.
- Follow all definite and tentative bookings, amend selling, and rate strategy accordingly to ensure measurable improvements in demand generation and ultimately Rooms yield.
- Maintain appropriate forecasting tool reports to ensure measured tracking of results on a daily basis.
- Supply critical analysis on the effect of short and long-term decisions affecting occupancy, average rate, RevPar and rooms profit goals.
- Have knowledge of market events, conventions, festive seasons, financial and political status of our country as well as of key business source countries.
- Strive to achieve budgeted RevPar index against the Comset properties, monitor and analyse competitive set in accordance with “Competition Act”.
- Work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing and General Manager to achieve optimum yield through reputable third party intermediaries.
- Maintain and analyze Revenue by Room type and ensure appropriate room type sale through various channels.
- Actively look for new business opportunities and relate to the Director of Sales & Marketing to enhance future potential business.
- Ensure disciplined configuration of PMS in terms of revenue management, conduct regular audits on reservation entries.
- Effectively use revenue management system for appropriate rate decisions and optimal yield.
- Clearly communicate rate and selling strategy to Sales and Revenue teams.
- Work closely with sales and rooms departments on possible opportunities for revenue enhancement.
- Maintain annual oversight of the overall price strategy and structure of the property to ensure that it is in line with the strategic objectives set out in the budgets.
- Establishes property pricing levels in all segments.
- Establish and implement pricing, yield, and selling strategies for the property, based on market factors and company guidelines.
- Monitors competitor strategies and data; maintains understanding of the dynamics of the local market and demand generators and presents appropriate action plans to the management.
