Job summary
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving market share and qualifying leads. Duties will include following up on web inquiries, prequalifying leads, and developing them until they are ready for handoff to the Sales team. In addition to handling inbound inquiries, the Business Development Executive will engage in prospecting, outreach for marketing events, and perform various sales development functions to establish a pipeline within targeted accounts designated by management.
**Responsibilities**:
New Business Development
- Prospect for potential new customers and turn this into increased business.
- Identify potential customers, and the decision makers within the customer organization.
- Research and build relationships with new customers.
- Set up meetings between customer decision makers and Principals.
- Work with Sales team to develop proposals that speaks to the customer's needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Participate in pricing the solution/service.
- Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
Customer Retention
- Assist the sales team by providing relevant reports for renewal business.
- Present new product/services and enhance existing relationships.
- Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to resolve issues faced by customers.
**; Requirements**:
- Requirements
- At least 2 years sales and/or lead qualification experience.
- Experience with lead qualification at all organizational levels - managers, directors, VPs, and executives.
- Excellent communication skills in English. You know what to say and more importantly, how to say it.
- Adaptable, flexible, and accepting of change, often tossing out ideas and starting anew
- Thrives in a team environment
- Proficient with CRM and sales tools
