**Purpose**

Leads and completes the elicitation of business requirements and their translation into solution requirements to ensure their implementation throughout the project life cycle. This role will generally involve the co-ordination of work of other Business Analysts to deliver the required deliverable or will be a more technical role delivering multiple requirements as part of a moderate to large high risk independent project.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Describes as-is-to-be models as part of the requirements elicitation process.
- They plan, conduct facilitate elicitation sessions and ensure production of associated deliverables.
- They understand customers' objectives, processes and products in order to make recommendations.
- They are the project manager's right hand in building the business case, including cost benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope and development of a high-level plan.
- They produce requirement specifications and outline solution design documents throughout the project life cycle, incorporating change requests and finalization of requirements documentation.
- They plan and follow-up on business analyst activities for the project-program, and analyze and manage requirement risk, trace ability matrix and prioritize requirements.
- They support development of test plan, testing, implementation and training activities, and perform quality review checks on solution.
- They support post implementation activities including problem solving and measurement of benefits.
