As we expand our team, we are looking for a skilled BIM Drafter to support our electrical department in the design, development, and implementation of data center projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, backup power, and other electrical infrastructure used in data centers.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to create accurate designs and layouts for data center electrical systems.
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings (plans, elevations, and sections) and schematics for construction purposes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, local codes, and project specifications.
- Participate in the coordination and clash detection process to resolve issues before construction.
- Provide support during the construction phase, including as-built documentation and any design modifications.
- Assist in the preparation of project submittals and presentations for stakeholders.
- Manage and update project documentation, ensuring all revisions are captured in the BIM system.

**Minimum Entry Requirements**:

- Associate’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering Technology, Architectural Drafting, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience working with BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
- Familiarity with electrical systems design, including power distribution, lighting, and backup power systems in data centers.
- Knowledge of BIM processes, clash detection, and 3D modeling standards.
- Experience with data center design and construction is a plus.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, codes, and regulations.
- Proficient in using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD (preferred), or similar BIM platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and handle multiple priorities.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in BIM or Revit.
- Experience working on large-scale data center or electrical infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and codes, including NEC, IEC, or other regional standards.
- Familiarity with energy-efficient design practices and sustainability standards in electrical systems.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
