**Job Overview**:
As a **Customs Clearance Specialist**, you will be responsible for executing daily customs clearance operations for both air and sea shipments. You will prepare accurate declarations, ensure compliance with Malaysian Customs regulations, liaise with authorities, and support customers with duty/tax matters to guarantee smooth and timely clearance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage day-to-day customs clearance activities for import/export shipments.
- Prepare and submit customs declarations with correct HS codes and supporting documentation.
- Advise customers and internal teams on duty/tax assessments, FTA eligibility, and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with Customs officers, OGAs, carriers, and warehouses to resolve inspections or clearance holds.
- Maintain accurate records for compliance and audit purposes.
- Keep up to date with customs regulations, tariff schedules, and trade compliance updates.
- Support process improvement initiatives to reduce lead-times and improve accuracy.
- Assist in preparing operational reports and provide timely shipment status updates.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, Business, or related field.
- 2-3 years of hands-on customs clearance or freight forwarding experience.
- Solid knowledge of Malaysian Customs procedures, HS codes, and OGA permit handling.
- Strong ability to calculate duties, taxes, and charges accurately.
- Good communication and coordination skills with both customers and customs authorities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, cargo/shipment systems, and EDI tools (or willingness to learn).
- Detail-oriented, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Languages: English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an advantage).
- (Nice-to-have) Experience with LMW/AEO programmes, DG handling, or customs broker licence.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month

- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (required)
