Ipoh, Malaysia Perak Community Specialist Hospital Full time

To ensure proper handling of phone reception and responding to all phone enquiries in a friendly and positive manner.

To make public announcement when required (code blue / code red / public announcement).

Balancing of cash float before change of duty and acknowledgement by the staff concerned.

Admitting patient to the appropriate ward accordance to the presented illness or clinical condition.

To call sister on-call to assist when required.

To ensure valid documents provided for foreign patient admissions and to notify head of department on any illegal immigrants that required admission.

To ensure collection of minimum amount of deposit required for self paying patient on admission.

To issue Deposit Payment Notice for self-paying patient who are unable to pay the required deposit on admission.

To follow-up balance of deposit payments from the patients who didn’t bring or have the required deposit amount on admission.

To handle admission and discharge under cash, corporate and insurance.

To ensure the Letter of Guarantee from the company is accepted by the hospital for corporate admission.

To complete daily update and checking of bills.

To do daily screening of proforma bills and to approach patient or next of kin to top up deposit based on the proforma amount.

To finalize patient’s bill upon discharge.

To collect payment by cash or credit card or through other channel of payments.

To screen cash through money detector for forgery.

To issue bill and receipt for payment collected.

To deposit cash collection hand over by other service departments into the safe.

To attend to any bill enquiries when required.

To prepare guarantee letter to other service provider upon request.

To achieve the targeted KPI.

Alertness and awareness of the surrounding environment happenings and reporting of any abnormalities.

To be on-call or covering shift when required.

To undertake any other duties as assigned by the head of department.

**Job Requirement**:
SPM / Diploma.

Computer literate.

Strong interpersonal skill and high initiative.

Preferably 1-2 years of working experience in a hospital environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
