**Job Summary**:
The Office Assistant will support clerk and administration teams by handling a variety of bookkeeping, record keeping and office management tasks. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Accounting Support**:
- Assist with processing invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Record financial transactions in accounting software or spreadsheets.
- Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper filing of documents.
**Administrative Support**:
- Manage office supplies and ensure inventory levels are maintained.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and coordinate office activities.
- Assist with filing, data entry, and document management.
- Prepare and distribute reports, memos, and other communications.
- Support the administrative team with various tasks as needed.
**General Office Management**:
- Coordinate office maintenance, including equipment and facility management.
- Assist in managing office budgets and related expenses.
- Organize and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist with onboarding new employees and maintaining HR records.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial and administrative tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Basic knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is a plus.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in accounts or administration is preferred but not mandatory.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Minimum of a diploma in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in accounts or administrative roles is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Malay; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Familiarity with office equipment and basic IT troubleshooting.
- Language communication: English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9AM-6PM; may work some weekends due to construction progress
- Amenable to work in Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
