The Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for leading and managing the hotel's sales and marketing strategies to maximize revenue, increase market share, and enhance brand awareness. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive sales plans, overseeing marketing initiatives, managing the sales team, and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and partners.

THE JOBSCOPE
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals across all segments (Corporate, MICE, Leisure, OTA, etc.).
- Plan and oversee marketing campaigns to promote the hotel’s services and enhance brand visibility.
- Collaborate with PR agencies, digital marketers, and other stakeholders for effective campaigns.
- Ensure all marketing materials and communications align with brand standards.
- Work closely with Revenue Management and Reservations to optimize pricing strategies and drive profitability.
- Analyze sales reports, market performance, and forecast future demand.
- Prepare budgets and monitor departmental expenses to ensure ROI.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, events, and client meetings.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with travel agencies, DMCs, and corporate clients.
- Serve as the primary contact for high-value clients and key accounts.
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts.
- Lead and mentor the sales team to meet and exceed performance targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and adjust strategies accordingly.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in hotel sales and marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in driving revenue growth and team leadership.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Opera Sales & Catering), and OTA platforms.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM11,000.00 per month
