About the Position:
The Commercial Lead is responsible for the development, implementation, management, and execution of a best-in-class sales and marketing promotional strategy, as well as access strategy to support the Malaysia’s and Indonesia’s launches and lifecycle development of BeiGene’s current and future Oncology assets that fall into this Business Unit. Commercial Lead will work collaboratively with all key stakeholders including the business partners and to develop a high performing team for pipeline products and foster a culture of excellence, transparency, trust, passion, and the highest business ethics.

Lead and build the commercial Oncology team for Malaysia and Indonesia goals
- Demonstrate and model strong leadership while developing real authentic relationships with openness, vulnerability, and trust. Culture would include continuous learning and development, coaching and mentoring, innovative thinking and problem solving skills.
- Recruit, hire and lead the Oncology team in Malaysia & Indonesia as required.
- Establish, implement, execute, and monitor a strong planning process with cross-functional support to drive customisation of stakeholder engagement plans and focused support to deliver best-in-class service, engagement and impact.
- Be courageous and embrace truly innovative ways of doing things to accomplish things that others thought were impossible.
- Collaborate with partners, health care practitioners, patient advocacy groups and other relevant stakeholders to support best-in-class Oncology care with the patient always at the center.
- Responsible for the sales performance in addition to achievement of brand and corporate business goals for Malaysia and Indonesia
- Responsible for the development of commercial forecasts as well as brand budgets for Malaysia and Indonesia
- Exhibit strong collaboration with global, regional and marketing team
- Work closely with Regional Market Access / Corporate Affairs to support broad patient outreach eg Bluebook Listing in Malaysia
- Establish superior working relationships with key opinion leaders in Malaysia and Indonesia
- Challenge all status quo with new training platforms that will support the team in the areas of clear communication, advanced analytics, and being truly customer centric.
- Consistently ensure operating in accordance with BeiGene´s Standards of conduct and all applicable local laws and regulations
- Play a pivotal role as key point of contact between BeiGene and Business Partner in Indonesia to ensure smooth operations of the business partnerships driving business objectives.

Lead the development of value propositions, pricing and market access strategies for BeiGene products
- Perform regular review of pricing and access status in the considered disease(s)
- Develop pricing and market access strategic plans throughout the life cycle management of BeiGene products and portfolio considering lead indication, new indications sequences and possible repercussion on pricing and access at local and global level
- In close collaboration with global HEOR and global pricing and market access teams, develop the most compelling local value proposition for BeiGene products
- Based on pricing research insights and competitive analysis, develop pricing and access recommendations for management decision making
- In close collaboration with local and/or regional regulatory affairs, pricing and market access, HEOR, medical affairs, commercial, finance, lead the development of the product dossier story flow, structure, detailed content as necessary leveraging local and global expertise.
- Lead the pricing and reimbursement negotiation process with the relevant reimbursement bodies in Malaysia; engage with all key relevant key stakeholders as needed in a timely and efficient manner

Qualification Required:

- Bachelor’s degree University is required, preferrable with MBA
- A minimum of 10 to 15 years of sales and marketing functional experience in the pharmaceutical industry with 5 years of experience in a commercial leadership or managerial role in Malaysia / Indonesia
- Deep experience in Oncology strongly preferred or innovative medicines in specialty care
- New product launch experience required.
- Strong collaborator who can incorporate input from others and can generate consensus through inclusion.
- Highly skilled in influencing cross-functional teams, including interfacing with key internal and external stakeholders and with scientific and commercial teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to grow and develop others
- Demonstrated experience in challenging the status quo
