Project Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead and oversee the full project lifecycle — from planning to execution and delivery.

**Role Overview**:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and completion of interior design and construction projects. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. You will coordinate with internal departments, external vendors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Project Planning & Management**:

- Lead the planning and execution of multiple design and build projects simultaneously.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.
- Develop project timelines, work schedules, and resource allocations.

**2. Budgeting & Cost Control**:

- Prepare project budgets, including materials, labor, subcontractor, and miscellaneous costs.
- Monitor and control project expenditures to stay within the approved budget.
- Identify and manage cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

**3. Client & Stakeholder Coordination**:

- Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Attend project meetings and provide regular updates to clients and internal management.
- Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction with the delivered outcomes.

**4. Site Supervision & Quality Control**:

- Oversee day-to-day site activities, including coordination of contractors and vendors.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections, resolve site issues, and ensure project milestones are met.

**5. Team Coordination & Leadership**:

- Lead and coordinate internal teams including designers, site supervisors, and procurement staff.
- Assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and provide guidance throughout the project.
- Conduct team briefings and progress meetings to align goals and manage workloads.

**6. Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain proper documentation including contracts, correspondence, variation orders, work progress, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare project progress reports for internal and client review.
- Ensure project close-out reports and final accounts are completed accurately.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum **Diploma or Bachelor's Degree** in **Construction Management**, **Interior Architecture**, **Civil Engineering**, or related field.
- Minimum **3-5 years of experience** in project management, preferably in interior design or construction industry.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Able to multitask, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in **Microsoft Office**, **Project Scheduling Tools** (e.g. Microsoft Project), and ability to read technical drawings.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel to project sites as required.
- Knowledge of **CIDB requirements**, local authority submissions, and site safety practices

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
