**Position: Category Manager - Merchandising / Retail**

**Tenure: Contract 1 year ( converted to Permanent)**

**Basic Salary: Up to RM 7,000**

**Role & Statement**

Execute and implement the eight (8) step category management process in line with the category marketing strategy

CM accountable for delivering the CR business development strategies for the CR premium offer (TREATS) for a defined geography of supported c-stores, and effectively managing operating resources to deliver and maintain excellence in execution of the Petron customer offer

**Responsibilities**
*
Develop category management strategies for assigned category to achieve business objectives and profitability
*
Provide knowledge transfer of category management principles
*
Coordinate and implement New Store conversion process
*
Coordinate grand openings, CSR programs and site activities with local vendor selection, contract management, planogramming, and logistics of product distribution
*
Create, develop, and communicate local promotions aligned with guidelines for assigned categories
*
Monitors implementation of promotions and tracks performance results
*
Implement and ensure controls/compliance
*
Interface & negotiate with local vendors and resolve operational issues as required
*
Monitor accounts on a daily basis. Resolve Outstanding Payment

**Job requirements**
*
Bachelor Degree in any field
*
Minimum 5 to 7 years of working experience in related field
*
*
Excellent communication in English both written and spoken due to business needs
*
Good analytical skills and marketing business skills
*

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: Up to RM7,000.00 per month
