**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in all Quantity Surveying functions.
- Assist in Pre and Post Contract Activities and Budget Control
- Manage efficient project and contracts documentation system
- Prevent the company from entering in any contractual disputes

**Tasks (Job Descriptions)**:
To assist in all Pre-Contract and Post-Contract activities which includes but not limited to:

- **Planning and Implementation**:

- Prepare and submission of budgetary estimates from tender drawings, Bill of Quantities for all disciplines and cost estimation, progress claim, variation order, evaluation of claims, etc
- Support in all the activities during tender stage including compilation of document and tender submission
- Accountable for pre and post contract management, monitoring materials and construction cost, site valuation, variation order and final accounts
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for new construction project
- Appointment of contractors, preparation of Bill of Quantities, Letter of Award and Work Orders.
- Acquire quotations from contractors and suppliers for purpose of cost assessment, analysis, or budgeting.
- Develop, implements and update project status information and monitoring systems to evaluate project budgets and administers their execution.
- To coordinate and liaise with clients and subcontractors on all claims and contractual matters such responding all the correspondence related, site valuation, preparation of Progress Claims to Client / Interim Payment Certificate to Sub-contractors / Suppliers including Variations and the submission as well
- Responsible for taking-off quantities as and when required by Contract Manager
- Prepare final account to Client and Sub-contractors.
- Develop and efficient, user friendly database for projects, suppliers, contractors, clients, including pricing evaluation of products and services.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior from time to time.

**Reporting**
- Ensure overall project budget are prepared timely and construction costs and variation orders are controlled within budget
- Immediately highlight to immediate superior any issues relation to contractual and financial issues on ad hoc basis
- Prepare and coordinate a weekly progress meeting with immediate superiors

**Office**
- Effective communication of the Company's objective to staff
- Good corporate governance, comply with all legal and statutory requirements.
- Comply with all good business practice requirements
- Provide active contribution to developing a QS system

**Knowledge & Skills**:

- Technically strong in Quantity Take-Off.
- Good Microsoft Excel skill and knowledge in other costing software is an added advantage.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and meticulous.
- Independent worker who can work well with mínimal supervision.
- Fast worker with ability to work well under stress.

**Qualifications & experience**
- Qualifications: Minimum Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Equivalent.
- Experience: 2 - 5 years relevant and similar capacity preferably in Construction industry

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
