Primary Responsibilities:
**Section Management**:

- Oversee and manage a designated section of the kitchen (e.g., grill, sauce, pastry).
- Ensure all dishes from the section are prepared to the highest standards and presented beautifully.

**Food Preparation**:

- Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to the menu specifications and recipes.
- Maintain consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation.

**Quality Control**:

- Inspect and ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients.
- Conduct regular checks on the section to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

**Inventory and Stock Management**:

- Monitor stock levels and report any shortages.
- Assist in ordering and managing inventory for the section.

**Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide training and guidance to junior kitchen staff and apprentices.

**Hygiene and Cleanliness**:

- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.

**Menu Development**:

- Contribute ideas for new dishes and seasonal menu changes.
- Assist in the creation and testing of new recipes.

**Customer Service**:

- Occasionally interact with guests for special dietary requirements or feedback.
- Ensure guest satisfaction through high-quality food and service.

Secondary Responsibilities:
**Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain records of food production, wastage, and inventory.
- Assist in cost control and waste reduction efforts.

**Equipment Maintenance**:

- Ensure all kitchen equipment in the section is in good working condition.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.

**Safety Compliance**:

- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries in the kitchen.
- Participate in regular safety and health training sessions.

**Event Support**:

- Assist in the preparation and execution of special events and banquets.
- Adapt quickly to different styles and requirements for various events.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
