Our client is a creatives and relevance branding impact to a wide range of clienteles.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, reporters, editors, and other media professionals.
- Proactively pitch story ideas and press releases to media outlets to generate positive media coverage.
- Respond to media inquiries promptly and manage crisis communications, if necessary.
- Content Creation - Editorial and Social Media
- Develop compelling press releases, articles, and other written materials for media distribution.
- Craft persuasive and engaging content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and newsletters.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and consistency in messaging.

Reporting:

- Monitor and analyse media coverage and public opinion to assess the organisation’s or client’s public image.
- Develop strategies to address and counter any negative publicity or misconceptions.
- Proactively identify potential PR issues and provide recommendations for mitigation.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of PR campaigns and initiatives.
- Provide regular reports on key PR metrics, such as media coverage, social media engagement, and brand sentiment.

**Role requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in public relations. Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related fields.
- Proven work experience in public relations including internships, preferably within a relevant industry or agency setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with media outreach tools and techniques.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms for PR purposes.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
