Demand Planning Manager, Sea

**Key Responsibilities**

**Achieve agreed customer service level (OTIF)**
- Chair weekly operations meeting to plan production to meet customer demand.
- To coordinate the backlogs/overdue meeting with customer service & production planner.

**Establish a reliable demand plan**
- Responsible for coordinating the SEA demand planning activities - (S&OP, consensus forecast), maintaining the optimum balance between service levels (OTIF), inventory (stock levels) and new product introduction (phase in/out).
- Use statistical forecast to generate reliable monthly demand plan through demand review with commercial, supply chain and operations team

**Driving S&OP process**
- To prepare the demand review deck (presentation) to facilitate the S&OP meeting; participate and document the actions from the meeting (minute meetings) and provide strict follow up on the established agreements to ensure completion.
- To participate in the supply/demand review process to ensure a clear understanding of the assumptions made in the demand plan.
- To highlight any issues related to demand/supply that require business decision & follow-up.
- Monthly measurement of Forecast Accuracy metrics (BIAS & MAPE). Prepare, report, and communicate the results to regional supply chain leaders.

**Driving RAMC review process**
- Perform key analysis to ensure excess, slow moving, expired and dead-stock value is reduced
- To drive key reviews with partners to ensure identified actions are completed on a timely basis

**Inventory Management**
- To coordinate within SEA or outside SEA for reducing excess inventory
- To coordinate on the stock replenishment internally
- To review the latest safety stock setting & publish the safety stock performance
- To support the Material Planning Team in ensuring proper raw materials, packaging and PFGs are ordered at the right time and with the right quantities.
- Cooperate with the various material planners to ensure supplier follow-ups including custom procedures are complied
- To work with Material Planning Manager to establish proper routine and utilization of MRP system to reduce bottlenecks. Timely updates to the MRP system is encouraged to ensure proper planning and inventory control.

**Leadership**
- Be the focal point in SEA for all demand & material planning related activities for X-SBU.
- Coordinate resolution of operational issues with team members and partners while keeping maintaining customer satisfaction at acceptable levels.
- Proactively participate in leadership meetings and support the achievement of stipulated goals.

**Qualifications****:

- Minimum 5-7 years managerial experience with extensive experience in working with matrixed organization and delivering quality results.
- Proven capability in managing partners with significant influencing ability at all levels in the organization
- Strong demand and material planning knowledge and experience, preferably from consumer goods industry
- Strong understanding of supply chain management especially on warehouse and logistics control
- Knowledge of and experience from chemical / paint industry are advantageous
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Possess, at minimum, bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science and/or Business management.
- High proficiency in Oracle and MS Excel (A good understanding and hands on experience in SAP is an added advantage)
