This job is for a Legal Intern position. **Job Description - Legal Interns**
- Work closely with the Legal Team to offer comprehensive legal support and administrative assistance.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and proofreading legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct legal research on a wide range of legal matters in different jurisdictions.
- Support the management of intellectual property matters including trademark registrations.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of legal documents, contracts, and agreements, ensuring easy retrieval and accessibility.
- Assist in the preparing of legal reports and materials for internal stakeholders and external parties as required.
- Facilitate communication and coordination with external legal counsels, regulatory authorities, and governmental bodies.

**Opportunity Highlights**
- Engage in the day-to-day operations of the legal department within a public listed company.
- Exposure to wide range of corporate and commercial projects, issues, and clients across different industries, including a range of jurisdictions with different laws, regulatory structures, and business practices (_inter alia_, US, Singapore, Malaysia and the offshore jurisdiction’s laws).
- Participate and assist the legal team in various matters comprising a wide range of corporate and capital markets transactions, including cross-border M&A, pre-IPO restructuring and financing, joint ventures, IPOs and on post-listing regulatory compliance matters of companies listed on Bursa, Nasdaq and other foreign stock exchanges.
- Opportunity to observe and assist with contract drafting, review, negotiations, client meetings, legal research, document preparations and administrations.

- Hands-on experience that will allow interns to gain a deeper perspective understanding of the legal commercial process and build valuable skills that will serve them well in their future careers.

**Selection Process**
- Consistently strong academic performance achievement in his/ her studies in Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
- Completed studies in the module of Company Law.
- Excellent legal research and analytical skills, strong writing and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and an interest in the work of the group’s legal department.
- Detail-oriented and able to work effectively under pressure, as the legal field can be fast-paced and deadline-driven.
- Work well in a team and be willing to take on new challenges and learn from experienced professionals, which includes those of other departments in the group.

**Requirements**:

Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: RM1,000.00 per month
