The Legal Intern will support the Legal Department at TNG Digital Sdn Bhd while gaining valuable hands-on experience in corporate legal work. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn about fintech legal matters under the guidance and supervision of experienced legal professionals. The intern will work closely with the legal team and other departments to support the Company's operations while developing essential legal skills.

Job Responsibilities:

Contract Support

  1. Assist in reviewing and drafting simple commercial agreements under supervision
  2. Support contract administration including filing and follow-up on post-contract matters

Legal Research

  1. Conduct legal research on various topics relevant to fintech and corporate law
  2. Prepare research summaries and memoranda under guidance

Administrative and General Support

  1. Maintain legal document databases and organize legal documentation
  2. Support other departments with internal basic legal queries under supervision
  3. Assist with general administrative tasks and other duties as assigned to support the Legal Department

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) graduate
  • Any previous internship experience in legal, corporate, or financial services is an advantage
  • Basic understanding of contract principles and commercial law
  • Strong research and analytical abilities
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Attention to detail and accuracy & Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions
  • Eager to learn with a positive attitude, Reliable and punctual, Team player with good interpersonal skills, Proactive and willing to take initiative, Professional demeanor and strong work ethic, Adaptable and open to feedback
