To leverage the transformative potential of AI, the National AI Office (NAIO) will be established by the Ministry of Digital as the central authority to advance Malaysia’s artificial intelligence (AI) agenda, positioning the country as a key influencer in ASEAN’s digital landscape. During its developmental stage, the NAIO will be incubated within MyDIGITAL Corporation.

The National AI Office will play a pivotal role in shaping AI-related policies, promoting cutting-edge research, and ensuring the ethical development and deployment of AI technologies. With a strong emphasis on fostering cross-sector collaboration, the office will drive AI innovation for the benefit of the rakyat, government, and industries.

By spearheading innovative initiatives, the NAIO aims to place Malaysia at the forefront of AI adoption in Southeast Asia, reinforcing its leadership in advancing AI for national and regional progress.

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Build and maintain relationships with AI industry players, startups, researchers, and government agencies.
- **Project Management**: Oversee and execute initiatives related to AI innovation, technology transfer, and industry collaboration.
- **Research & Analysis**: Conduct market research and analyze AI trends to provide insights for policy and industry recommendations.
- **Content Development**: Prepare reports, proposals, presentations, and marketing materials for AI programs and initiatives.
- **Cross-Department Collaboration**: Work closely with other NAIO divisions to align AI innovation strategies with national objectives.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in AI, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in AI, technology innovation, business development, or policy-making.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about AI and its impact on industries and society.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in event planning, stakeholder engagement, or government relations is a plus.
