E-commerce Executive

**1.0 Job Summary**

Revenue & Yield Manager is responsible for both strategic and tactical initiatives related to revenue maximization. As a member of the Revenue Management Department, you will have the opportunity to set strategic direction, determine pricing, create promotions, and explore new distribution opportunities. You will own the implementation of a business plan and product strategy. You will have exposure to senior management and work closely with Sales, Marketing, Front Office and Reservations.

**2.0 Duties and Responsibilities**

2.1 Manage and maintain group and transient inventory controls.

2.2 Develop, monitor, and adjust sales and pricing strategies.

2.3 Provide critical analysis of strategies, room's statistics and demand factors.

2.4 Conduct competitive and demand analysis.

2.5 Maintain distribution channel data integrity.

2.6 Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and the ability to work well with

co-workers and the public.

2.7 Independently implements appropriate hotel inventory distribution strategy;
maintains accurate rates and inventory allotments in the IDS/GDS and

property PMS in a timely manner to promote rate parity throughout all booking

channels.

2.8 Develops near and long-term top-line rooms revenue hotel forecasts upon

request from the General Manager.

2.9 Spearheads troubleshooting and resolution of any GDS rate loading issues as

they occur.

2.10 Loads all preferred, consortia and promotional rates in GDS and PMS

2.11 Analyses independently and determines whether hotel is effectively marketing

itself across electronic distribution channels.

2.12 Participate and prepare rolling forecast and annual budget.

2.13 Ensure that all rooms statistics reports, including the financial statement, and

any other related reports are accurate and consistent.

2.14 Attend Weekly Sales Meeting to maintain communication of strategies and

need periods.

2.15 Perform revenue management service for a select group of hotels.

2.16 Manage all aspects of rate & inventory management as outlined in the services contract.

2.17 Manage and lead the Team through day-to-day operations, as well as strategically guide the Revenue department to achieve Team and organizational goals.

2.18 To maximize room revenue and occupancy through effective control and planning of room inventory.

2.19 Creates and manages the training program of new hires to the revenue management team.

2.20 Prepare training materials, training schedules, and systems training for the team members.

2.21 To carry out any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time.

**3.0 Area of Responsibilities**

3.1

3.1.1 To ensure that all staff deliver a high level of service standard which meets the expectations of hotel guests.

3.2

3.2.1 To ensure that all equipment in the Hotel are kept in good working conditions.

3.2.1 To ensure that the Safety & Security department is kept in neat and clean working condition.

**4.0 Preferred Knowledge/Qualification/ Experience**

4.1 Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Hotel Management with 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

4.2 Good practical, operational and adequate administrative skills are an asset.

4.3 Experienced In supervision of security personnel and physically fit.

**6.0 **Training and Development**

6.1 To ensure that all staff are properly trained for the tasks they are performing and that staff are developed to the fullest.

6.1 To be responsible for staff retention in the department and to take appropriate measures in furtherance of staff stability.

**7.0 **Other Assignments**

7.1 To carry out any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
