Homlux Interior Furnishing Sdn Bhd is an award-winning, ISO-Certified interior design and build company specialising in commercial projects across Malaysia and Singapore. we’re hiring an Accounts Executive to join our Johor team and help keep our projects and finances running smoothly.

**About the role**
You will assist the accounts manager with daily accounting operations and project accounting. this role suits someone who is organised, strong with numbers and comfortable working across multiple departments in a fast-paced fit-out environment.

**Key responsibilities**
- Manage daily accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries
- Check and verify claims and payables; prepare journal vouchers and cheques
- Prepare project costing and submit to accounts manager for sales commission processing
- Allocate expenses to accounts and cost centres after analysing invoices and expense reports
- Issue sales orders, invoices and delivery orders; update project billing
- Follow up on outstanding payments and reconcile invoices
- Prepare timely financial reports for ongoing projects
- Maintain accounting records (hardcopy and softcopy) and improve internal controls
- Support audits and liaise with external auditors as required
- Assist with ad hoc administrative duties assigned by superiors

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma in Accounting, LCCI or equivalent
- Capable of handling full set accounts; knowledge of contractor/fit-out accounting is an advantage
- Professional qualifications (ACCA/CPA) are a plus
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience for senior accounts executive; minimum 3 years for accounts executive
- Proficient with accounting software and advanced excel skills
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision and collaborate well across teams
- Meticulous, accurate and comfortable working primarily with numbers

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
