User Researcher

**About the role**:
We are looking for an experienced user researcher to join the growing product team. User Research is a key component in our product development process which helps inform our product and design decisions. You’ll be responsible for driving strategic research projects that guide product experimentation and design iterations at StashAway, and become an advisor to others in the team to elevate user research capability within the product and design team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Drive strategic research projects
- Lead user research projects that uncover potential opportunities for StashAway’s new product development areas.
- ResearchOps / processes management
- Coordinating product & marketing teams in research projects
- Help manage relevant research tools (Dovetail, etc) and templates, drive the automation of research processes whenever possible.
- Making sure research practices are complying with data privacy regulations
- Leading research planning & recruitment
- Act as an advisor to research activities in feature development for functional squads
- Assist with user interview facilitation when required
- Expand the type of research we can do to improve existing products / explore new product initiatives
- Advisor / Domain expert
- Can bring deeper experience and domain knowledge in user research, coach and guide the team on how to conduct better research
- Advocate for research as a discipline within the company
- (Optional) Provide expertise and advice in B2B research planning & recruitment
- Synthesizing & analyzing results
- Facilitate user research insights sharing across organization

**Requirements**:
**Must-haves**:

- 6+ years full-time research background
- Experience working in a consumer-facing product
- Ability to run multiple research projects from **tactical to strategic**
- Ability to make research a strategic component of the product development process (from **reactive to proactive)**
- Can communicate insights to different teams
- Strong planning skills and process driven
- Ability to translate qualitative data insights (typically social sciences such as psychology, sociology, anthropology)**Good-to-haves**:

- Experience working on B2B research projects
