**Your new role**

In this role, you will be responsible for crafting and executing strategies that proactively identify, assess, and mitigate potential cyber risks and threats through advanced technology research and intelligence.
- ** Strategic Planning**: Develop a comprehensive strategic plan for the division that aligns with our organisational goals.
- ** Collaboration**: Work with government, industrial, and academic partners to fortify national cyber security.
- ** Global Engagement**: Represent our commitment to cybersecurity in local and international forums.
- ** Research Leadership**: Oversee strategic and technological research to enhance our cybersecurity capabilities.
- ** Initiative Developmen**t: Create strategic initiatives to support national and stakeholder security challenges.
- ** Long-term Planning**: Contribute to the organization’s 5-Year Development Plan in collaboration with various divisions.
- ** Trend Analysis**: Stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies.
- ** Project Management**: Ensure the successful delivery of pre-emptive cybersecurity projects.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- **Degree**: Bachelor’s or higher in Science, IT, or Management.
- ** Experience**: At least 10 years in a leadership role, preferably in cybersecurity
- A blend of strategic insight and cybersecurity expertise.
- Profound knowledge of cybersecurity principles and risk assessment.
