**Job Descriptions**:

- Research potential suppliers and evaluate existing suppliers.
- Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
- Good Negotiation skills.
- To create and maintain good relationships with key suppliers to ensure merchandise is high quality and delivered on time.
- To review prices and quality and ensure optimal stock levels.
- Prepare/track orders and ensure timely delivery.
- To monitor the stock level and place orders that are needed and essential for our company’s day-to-day operations.
- Review quality of purchased products.
- Coordinate with Operations staff to ensure proper storage and healthy stock levels.
- To set daily workday goals, work alongside various other Departments and iron out all the necessary information to ensure company objectives remain on track and are completed as efficiently as possible.
- Ensure all related documents according to the order request and key in the suppliers’ billings in the accounting software accurately and on a timely basis.
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
- Prepare Reports on purchases, including cost analyses for the Management.
- Good knowledge of market research, along with solid analytical skills to make sure you’re identifying the most profitable offers.
- Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends, if needed.

**Job Requirements**:

- Proven work experience as a Purchasing Executive or similar role.
- Ability to accurately process numerical data.
- An ability to prioritise and manage expectations.
- Well planned, organised with keen attention to detail.
- An ability to work independently.
- The ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with other people within the company.
- Problem-solving attitude.
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors).
- Understanding of supply chain procedures.
- Able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Solid analytical and time management skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Business Administration with at least three (3) years of working experience in the related field.
- At least three (3) years of experience in the related post.
- Requirement: English, Bahasa Malaysia. Computer literate and good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table and VLookup).
- Those who have knowledge in ERP and from an FMCG background will have the advantage.
- Preferable Mandarin Speaking due to Nature of Business.
