Gelang Patah, Malaysia IOT MANUFACTURING SDN BHD Full time

This position reports to the Procurement Manager and will be responsible for the purchasing functions of a new manufacturing plant in Johor Bahru.

**Responsibilities**:

- Establish all purchasing policies and procedures and ensure all purchases are in compliance to the standards and guidelines
- Source, evaluate and negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing with potential vendors
- Develop purchasing plan and coordinate with internal departments on purchasing activities to ensure timely delivery and optimal stock level
- Maintain approved vendor list and conduct regular review to ensure price, quality and delivery lead time meet the requirements
- Monitor stock level and replenishment process

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
- 3 to 4 years of purchasing experience, preferably from Electronics Manufacturing industry
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices
- Hands-on experience with purchasing software
- Understanding of supply chain procedures
- Good analytical skills, with the ability to create cost analysis reports
- Good negotiation skills
Mandarin speaking is an advantage due to the need to communicate with Chinese speaking stakeholders

**Salary**: From RM3,000.00 per month
