**JOB OVERVIEW**

To handle purchasing and play a pivotal role in securing high-quality and cost-efficient supplies for our business. Have to follow procurement procedures, maintain an updated list of current and incoming stock, and be responsible for approving purchases.

**JOB DESCRIPTIONS**

To create and maintain relationships with vendors/suppliers

To estimate and establish budgets for purchases

To make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment

To review all vendors and suppliers

To negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts

To develop plans for purchasing services, and supplies

To ensure that the products and supplies meet quality standards

To work with team members to complete duties as needed.

To maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development

To estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases

To prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, including expenditures, savings, and supplier performance. Generate reports for management review to provide insights and support decision-making processes.

**REQUIREMENTS**

At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to gather and analyze data, identify solutions, and make informed decisions.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills: Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels and negotiate favorable deals.

Able to make decisions and accomplish duties on time.

Must be motivated and able to manage time well.

Must be a team player but should also be able to work independently.

Able to work under pressure and adapt to change

Great relationship management.

Strategic thinking.

Understanding of risk management.

A focus on understanding and enhancing sustainability.

Understanding of the global food market.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, English
