Assistant Service Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Service Operations**:
- Assist in supervising the daily operations of the service department, including job scheduling, workshop flow, and customer appointments.
- Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion of repairs and servicing.
- Support in implementing policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Ensure proper documentation for service jobs, warranty claims, and vehicle inspections.
**Customer Service & Relations**:
- Ensure service advisors deliver excellent customer service, manage customer expectations, and follow up on service feedback or complaints.
- Assist in handling escalated customer issues professionally and effectively.
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels (CSI) and implement improvements where needed.
**Team Supervision & Support**:
- Provide guidance and support to frontline, job controllers, and technicians.
- Assist in coordinating team training and development, including technical updates or system training.
- Help manage technician productivity, job allocation, and service bay efficiency.
**Parts & Warranty Coordination**:
- Ensure proper parts ordering and availability for scheduled jobs.
- Verify accuracy of warranty claims and ensure submission within the required timeline.
- Liaise with the Parts Department for urgent part requirements or delays.
**Reporting & Administration**:
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly service reports (e.g., service intakes, productivity, efficiency).
- Support documentation and reporting for warranty, insurance claims.
**Key Requirements**:
- Degree in Automotive Engineering, technology or related field.
- Minimum 3 years experience in an automotive service environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Familiar with service systems DMS,SAP, VSS, CDM.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
