Our client is an innovative and dynamic logistics solutions provider with more than 4000 employees across more than 90 countries and being supported by hundreds of agents globally. The company provides airfreight, sea freight, customs brokerage, local transportation, warehousing, and distribution services. They provide logistics and supply chain solutions to aerospace, automotive, chemical, oil & gas, wine and spirits, and manufacturing industries.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Assistant Manager, Finance will be based in the headquarters in Bangsar.
The Assistant Manager, Finance, will be responsible:
- Handle all incoming invoices for supplier/vendor and stamp invoices with receiving stamp.
- Verify invoices in the vendors system
- Manage invoice disputes and accrual with Operations.
- To ensure all IATA invoices are paid on time.
- Allocate fixed transport cost to the number of jobs for the month.
- Reconcile supplier statements monthly and ensure all the invoices are in the system.
- Match invoices to accruals for Job related invoices.
- Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices along with credit terms.
- To ensure payment made to vendors on credit terms.
- To ensure all filing and invoices are done on a timely manner.
- To ensure and review all monthly expenses and P&L.
- To monitor and ensure the overheads and payment for both branches are on time.
- Enter Fixed Asset and GL into the system.
- Posting Journal for month end closing.
- Provide training for new/existing employees in Account Payable matters.
- Prepare monthly reporting and audit report schedule.
- Any other reports/task/duties assigned by superior.
**The Requirements**:
- Diploma/Degree holder in Accountancy or equivalent.
- At least 3 years’ experience in Account Payable and Account Receivable.
- Strong and sensitive to numbers, good mathematic results would be highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Cargowise and JDE system would be an advantage.
- Proficient in PC Literate and MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong analytical skill, meticulous, and detailed oriented.
- Good interpersonal, negotiation skill and team player.
- Possesses strong initiative and independent.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Able to multi-task and work under pressure.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
