**JOB SUMMARY**

Responsible for overall purchasing activity within the Company and work under the direct supervision of Manager, Purchasing.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**:

- To source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers.
- Negotiate with suppliers on price for minimum order quantity against usage requirements.
- Follow up and expedite supplier deliveries to meet ON-TIME delivery target.
- Organize, maintain and keep proper records of procurement documents.
- Source for new parts, suppliers or sub-contractors when the need arises.
- To plan and coordinate projects with other Management staff and handles new products development and maintenance items.
- Responsible for planning materials supply for production and to interface with vendors to ensure sufficient materials supply.
- Liase with MCY consultant for ad-hoc items to add into exemption list
- Other duties assigned by Immediate Superior from time to time.

**QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS**:

- Possess Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/ Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management/Commerce or other equivalent.
- Must be resourceful with strong sourcing, negotiation and procurement skills, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to learn, good working attitude and attendance, responsibility and good communication skills, a good team player.
- Able to work independently.
- Proficient in MS Office (Words, Excel, Power Point).

**SKILLS**:

- Fluent in English, Malay and Chinese.
- To be able to Write in English, Malay & Chinese.
- Proficient in Computer Literate.
- Analysis skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Delegation skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Good people skills.
