Research and identify reliable suppliers, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with Site team and contracts team (QS) on purchases and issue purchase orders based on purchasing requests.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.
- Yearly supplier performance review.
- Keep track of inventory levels, monitor stock, and reorder supplies as needed to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
- Ensure timely submission of all invoices and delivery orders to the Finance Department.
- To perform other related duties as assigned by the superior

**Job Requirements**:

- Experience in the construction industry would be an added advantage for this position.
- Required Language(s): Bahasa Malaysia & English. Mandarin is an advantage for this position.
- Computer literate with knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word & SQL Software.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.

**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bukit Mertajam: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Buyer/Purchaser: 3 years (preferred)
- Warehouse management: 3 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- Mandarin (preferred)
- English (preferred)
