**Responsibilities**:

- Assist Manager to plan, coordinate and oversee the technical and engineering activities.
- Lead, plan and monitor the technician’s duties in term of priorities and scheduling.
- Carry out daily morning briefing, routine monitoring on machinery safety, housekeeping/cleanliness and work priorities.
- Ensure maintenance record keeping eg: Preventive Maintenance, Work Order, and Upkeep report are in order.
- Ensure inventories, receiving and issuing of spare parts are well managed and records are maintained accordingly.
- Ensure submission of stock balance and machine breakdown report monthly.
- Ensure machineries / measurement equipment / other equipment under department’s responsibility are in control and good condition.
- Contact supplier / contractor for a quotation if necessary. Work closely with supplier / contractor and monitor the works are done according to standard.
- Communicate effectively with multiple departments related to machinery maintenance.
- Promote and ensure safe work procedure / practices and good house keeping practices.
- Attend to audits if necessary.
- Liaise with DOSH and other regulatory bodies, comply with rules and regulations/ requirements accordingly.
- To perform any other assigned duties from time to time.

**Job Requirements**
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical field with experience of handling maintenance crew in manufacturing company.
- At least 5 years’ experience in related field.
- Knowledge in electrical is added advantage.
- Possess strong leadership skills.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good time management skills, ability to prioritize duties and handling of urgency.
