Roles and Responsibilities: '¢ Shall report to the Operations/Diving Superintendent for maintenance and repair of the air diving system. '¢ Shall provide daily information (e.g. inspection, maintenance status and etc.) of the diving system to the Diving Supervisor. '¢ Shall ensure all spares and consumables are complete and utilized in the most safe and efficient manner. '¢ Shall be responsible for maintaining complete records of all maintenance carried out offshore in accordance with the contractors planned maintenance schedule contract and maintaining the diving system assurance (audit) document updated. Qualifications and Competencies: '¢ Obtained accreditation from qualified institution in mechanical or electrical certifications i.e. IKBN (Institut Kemahiran Belia Negara), ILP (Institut Latihan Perindustrian), NOSS (National Occupational Skills Standard) etc. '¢ Must have Training in High Voltage Electricity as per. See IMCA C010 high voltage training. '¢ Must have diving hat maintenance certificate for the type in use. '¢ Must be trained and competence assessed to an industry standard for cylinder and pillar valve inspection. '¢ At least 3 years' experience in mechanical or electrical in a surface supplied diving system. '¢ For systems that use Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) must have at least 180 days working days offshore on PLCs based systems or competence based training to show his compliance to IMCA M15/12.
