**Requirements**
- Prefer Malaysian only
- Mechanical assembly fundamentals, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors.
- Basic PLC programming, ladder logic, fundamentals and program editing.
- Ability to read, interpret and modify schematics.
- Ability to read, interpret, and modify technical/mechanical drawings
- Ability to integrate pneumatic components into assemblies as needed; ie valves, regulators and components, tubing.
- Ability to integrate sensors into assemblies as needed; ie; proximity / presence sensors, laser sensors. Able to do adequate soldering work
- Experience in using and troubleshooting various sensors, transducers, power supplies, flow meters, pressure gauges, servos, servo drivers, electrical circuits.
- Ability to do wiring from equipment supply to sub-components (PLC, sensors, etc)
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to make ad-hoc mechanical modifications for assembly fitment ie; machining, grinding, bending, cutting.
- Ability to operate machining & fabrication equipment such as lathe, miller, grinder (CNC not necessary), 3D printer, bench press.
- Use of CAD software (ie; AutoCAD, Inventor, Solidworks).

**Job Descriptions**
- Provide technical and hands-on support to the Global Engineering team whenever necessary.
- Assemble, build and test Proof of Concept (PoC) / bench test set-ups based on engineering designs. Make modifications to said designs if necessary for practical implementation. Both mechanical assembly and electronic, electrical integration required. PLC editing if project requires.
- Integrate sensors and pneumatic/hydraulic components into assemblies. Create/modify pneumatic flow diagrams.
- Work with machining & fabrication equipment such as lathe, miller, grinder (CNC not necessary), 3D printer, bench press. Use of miscellaneous shop tools, equipment, and machinery such as power tools, etc.
- Maintain machining & fabrication equipment.
- Perform testing of assemblies, whether mechanical or electrical, to ensure performance is as per request.
- Troubleshoot equipment, assemblies built.
- Maintain consumable items required for the workshop such as tool supplies, fasteners, chemicals.
- Interface with vendors, contractors and other parties when necessary.
- Place orders for necessary engineering parts for projects or for consumables, after approval. Liaise with purchasing if required.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping where Engineering Project / maintenance work is being carried out. Take positive steps to ensure that only safe working practices are allowed, and safe conditions and necessary safety equipment are provided and used correctly by employees in the workshop, in particular, and on the site generally. Ensure all laid down safety procedures are adhered to and every action is taken which will minimize or eliminate wherever possible the risk of accident or injury to employees.
- Day to day tasks that come with maintaining a workshop/lab.
- Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
- Ensure that all company activities conducted comply with all Malaysia’s legal requirements and the highest company and ethical standards.
- Any other duties and responsibilities assigned
