Igcse Teacher

To support the Head of Department to review syllabuses, resources, schemes of work,

assessment and teaching for learning strategies in the department.
- To focus on motivating the students and building on their knowledge, skills and

understanding so that they reach the highest level of personal achievement.
- To deliver teaching for learning in different ways using different types of strategies to address

the needs of all learners.
- To ensure the best possible environment for learning by developing a positive atmosphere in

which students feel safe and feel that they belong, in which they enjoy being challenged, but
in which they enjoy learning and know that they will succeed.
- To make on-going assessments of each student’s progress and use that information when

planning future lessons; in addition to using assessment for learning strategies, teachers will
also be guided by the assessment principles and requirements of the specific curricula with

- Providing guidance and advice to students on matters pertaining to the Seven Pillars of

Qualification including their future education and future careers.
- Contributing to the Enrichment Curricular Activities (ECA) and Co-Curricular Activities (CCA)

and the life of the school.

**Job Requirements**:

- IGCSE experience is essential and experience of teaching A-level is an advantages.
