Finance and Accounting Analyst

**About the Role**:
You will need to support for financial planning, analysis, and decision support to the Association's leadership team. You will also support budget development, forecast management, revenue and expense-related projects, as well as monthly close and analysis. You'll will reporting to Lead Manager.

**You will**:

- Prepare financial reports and non-financial metrics on a regular, pre-determined basis (e.g. bi-monthly, monthly, and quarterly). Conduct analysis and share results to the Finance leadership team.
- Prepare supporting materials for, and lead discussions during financial, product and marketing review meetings.
- Initiate planning and participate in the budget and financial projection cycles.
- Help prepare business cases and evaluate the budgets.
- Evaluate effectiveness of existing processes and recommend enhancements that lead to improvements in the quality of deliverables.
- Cultivate business relationships across the organization to understand business owner needs and expectations, incorporating feedback to enhance processes.
- Help with the annual audit by preparing requested schedules and addressing auditor inquiries.

**_You have:_**
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced degree or certification, such as CPA, CGMA, or CFM
- Oracle General Ledger, Discoverer and ADI experience
- Knowledge reading, interpreting and drawing accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material
- Knowledge of processes and techniques to explore and evaluate financial scenarios, results and alternatives
- Knowledge of processes, methods and tools to create accurate and financial reports
- Knowledge of methods and tools for maintaining accounting records and preparing financial statements and reports
