Job Description:
The main responsibility of the IT Managed Services Executive is to perform daily operations and support related to IT Hardware and Software Asset Management activities for a large financial institution in Malaysia.
**Summary of Key Responsibilities**:
- Perform day-to-day operations of all IT Hardware and Software Asset Management solution related activities
- Ensure latest inventory are updated into the IT Asset Management system
- Manages incidents and perform L1 issues troubleshooting, escalates all unresolved issues to Service Delivery Team
- Add, update, delete / decommission of IT Assets and contracts
- Update asset inventory details
- Update content packs to IT Asset Management system (quarterly)
- Prepare and generate report
- Compile and document change request forms
- Troubleshoot issues faced within the project implementation
- Provide training to customer as part of knowledge transfer activity
**Requirements**:
- Degree/Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Possess & demonstrate high sense of ethics, professionalism, matured personality, strong interpersonal & communication skills to interact effectively at all levels
- Must be a team player and highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative with mínimal supervision.
- Possess analytical and problem-solving skills and able to work under pressure and independently.
- Good presentation skills as well as proficient in written and spoken English.
- Professional certificate such as ITIL v2/v3 knowledge will be added advantage.
- Knowledge in Networking and / or Operating Systems such as Windows, Linux, AIX, HPUX, Oracle will be an added advantage.
- Experience in HP / Micro Focus / BMC / CA Management Solutions will be an added advantage.
**Job Type**: Permanent
**Salary**: Up to RM4,500.00 per month
