ABOUT THE ROLE
- The role of a Business Development Manager is to lead client acquisition and partnership growth in the China market, driving SalesWorks’ expansion and strengthening its presence.
- This role oversees the full business development lifecycle — from prospecting and pitching to onboarding and relationship management — while collaborating closely with senior leadership to align strategies with company objectives.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- A. Business Development & Client Acquisition:

- Identify, engage, and convert high-potential clients across multiple industries.
- Build a strong sales pipeline through networking, referrals, events, and outbound initiatives.
- Lead the full business development process from prospecting to closing deals.
- B. Strategic Alignment & Collaboration:

- Work closely with senior leadership to align business development strategies with company goals.
- Provide regular market insights and recommendations to refine go-to-market strategies.
- C. Client Onboarding & Growth:

- Oversee the smooth onboarding of new clients, ensuring clear handover to operations and delivery teams.
- Support the creation of tailored acquisition and marketing strategies for new accounts.
- D. Brand Representation & Relationship Building:

- Represent SalesWorks professionally at meetings, networking events, and conferences.
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with potential and existing clients.
- E. Reporting & Market Intelligence:

- Manage pipeline reporting, sales forecasting, and financial gating processes.
- Gather market intelligence to identify emerging opportunities and industry trends.
- Present regular progress updates, highlighting key challenges and opportunities.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- A native Mandarin speaker with proficiency in spoken and written English. Cantonese proficiency is an advantage.
- A professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition — ideally within the sales, marketing, or services industries.
- A proven track record of securing and managing large accounts in China. Existing commercial networks are a plus.
- An individual with experience in a high-growth or entrepreneurial environment.
- A strong negotiator and relationship builder with excellent commercial acumen.
- An agile, adaptable, and culturally fluent communicator within the China business landscape.
- A results-driven, self-motivated, and independent professional with strategic thinking and resilience.

- 负责中国市场的新客户开发与合作伙伴拓展,全面掌握商务拓展全流程。

主要职责
- A. 业务开发与客户拓展:
- 系统挖掘并开发多行业高潜力客户资源。
- 通过人脉网络、转介绍、行业峰会及主动拜访等方式建立销售渠道。
- 全程主导业务开发流程,从潜在客户识别到成功签约。
- B. 战略协同与执行:
- 与管理层密切配合,确保业务拓展方向与公司战略目标一致。
- 提供市场洞察与策略建议,持续优化市场拓展方案。
- C. 客户导入与增长管理:
- 确保新客户顺利导入,与运营及交付团队保持高效衔接。
- 参与制定新客户个性化营销与拓展方案。
- D. 品牌建设与关系维护:
- 代表公司出席各类商务会议、洽谈及行业活动。
- 建立并维护潜在及现有客户的长期合作关系。
- E. 数据分析与市场洞察:
- 负责销售渠道管理、业绩预测及财务分析。
- 收集市场信息与客户反馈,识别增长机会。
- 提交业务进展报告,汇报主要挑战与机遇。

任职要求
- 普通话为母语,具备熟练的英语沟通能力(书面及口语),熟悉粤语者优先。
- 5年以上商务拓展、销售或客户开发经验,具备销售、营销或服务行业背景者优先。
- 拥有在中国市场成功开发并维护大客户的经验,具备商业客户资源网络者优先。
- 有高速成长型企业或创业公司经验者优先。
- 优秀的商务谈判与客户关系管理能力。
- 敏锐的商业洞察力,能够识别并转化市场机会。
- 适应力强,熟悉中国商业文化与商务礼仪。
- 结果导向,积极自驱,具备独立工作能力。
- 战略思维强,具备抗压能力与良好沟通技巧。
