WE ARE LOOKING FOR.....

Team Manager to lead team members in supporting Banca Underwriting Business.

Participate in Banca projects and product developments.
- To lead and manage Banca Underwriting daily activities including develop strategic plans to better manage penders and resources effectively and achieve Department targets. As key SME to support Banca Underwriting related projects with higher take up rates and rapid expansion of PD business. Proactively develop continuous improvements for Banca regular Product/Credit Life underwriting process to ensure operational readiness to support PD.
- To supervise, mentor and coach for leading and developing team members’ professional growth. Regularly holds constructive coaching, conversations with team member offers clear, concise and factual feedback to inform development. Identify successor and develop young talent within the team
- To communicate and coordinate effectively with various stakeholders to support business growth. Conducts nationwide underwriting workshop for Partnership Distribution Sales team/ Bankers. Provide solution and guide Bankers or agents on complex cases or Larger Sum assured cases.
- To ensure continuous compliance of regulations/ procedures set for Customer Onboarding. Perform monthly quality audit and provide coaching to improve quality.
- To perform other responsibilities and duties this may be assigned from time to time by the Supervisors/HOD in order to meet operational and/or other requirements. Take part in New Product Development/systems enhancements for All Bancassurance Products, PB Direct, Banca Portals & Credit Life related systems for both Conventional & Takaful.

Minimum Job Requirements:

- Possess a tertiary qualification preferably in Medical Science or equivalent
- Preferably with at least 8 years working experience in Life Insurance Industry in medical and financial underwriting, legal aspect of life insurance.
- Strong interpersonal & delegation skills Able to share any ideas, suggestion or guidelines clearly with the team
- Able to build good relationship & trust at all levels
- Right attitude & ability to produce high quality work under pressure
