Job requirement : -Minimum Bachelor Degree / Diploma in respective area of expertise and professional certification in Engineering -Strong knowledge of relevant HSE principles -Ability to adhere to company policies, procedures, guidelines and work requirements. -Knowledge of regulatory agency, client and sub-contractor HSE requirements..Familiar with HSE MS, development of Safety Case, Emergency Response Procedure, Risk Assessment, Site Inspection Job Description : -To develop and maintain HSE working procedures and plans as necessary for controlling site and associated office activities. -To investigate any HSE accident /incident, near miss reporting, keep and maintain HSE records. -To recommend changes to the HSE management system as required. -To ensure that all personnel attend the site HSE induction program and other specific training modules where briefing / information on risk assessments will be imparted to workers. -To ensure a system to record & monitor potentially hazardous substances on site is in place. -To review Risk assessments for method statements, TSAs and PTWs and otherwise assist the construction / erecting section and others as necessary to develop and maintain HSE working procedures for the effective control of site and associated office activities. -Depute HSE Officer as per local implacable law for each work place for day and night shifts. -Monitoring EHS requirement compliance, Work place inspections, HSE audits, TSA, liaise with members of EHS, set up rules for site visiting by third party contractors, visitors etc, posting of safety policies & preparation of HSS&E manual to the satisfaction of EHS & posting them in prominent locations at the work place in languages understood by workers. -Set up site specific emergency plans and related drills. -Responsible for weekly monthly HSE monitoring and reporting of HSE achievement. -Responsible for HSE MS document control and keeping HSE records to company. -Responsible for assisting Project Director / Project Manager in developing HSE action plan and HSE objective and targets. -Responsible for HSE awareness enlightens and HSE professional’s expertise necessary for achieving the HSE strategic objectives of the project. -Responsible for implementing weekly tool box talk meeting on site. -Responsible for initiating STOP WORK and on the scene HSE intervention for unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and unsafe work practices.
