Job Description
- 1. General
a. Mainly JD in Financial Manager which covers the routine works and otherassignments mentioned below
- To provide accounting training and mentoring for junior members.
- 2. Routine
- a. Daily Operations for the company
- 1. Treasury of the company
2. Control all expenditure within in budget.
3. Responsible to handle full spectrum of accounting functions and activities.
b. Weekly
i. Report:
1. Provide support to BU for their periodic reporting, reviews andanalysis.
2. Review Gem Reward’s Summarized Weekly Business and
Financial Performance Report.
c. Monthly
i. Management Account
1. To ensure the all balance sheet items is properly recorded and intercompany balances is tie.
2. Review and analysis GEM Financial Statements.
ii. Presentation Slide
1. Review all monthly management account’s presentation slide.
iii. Documentation
1. To ensure all documentation have been recorded properly and to ensure all the schedules had been update.
d. Quarterly
- Quarterly Business Review (QBR)
- Prepare the QBR budget and cash flow which involving the wholeprocess (Bottom-up proposal, horizontal discussion, top-bottomdecision and vertical integration).
- Prepare the presentation slide for Group.
- To prepare the quarterly review report to management.
- 10Q Filing
1. To liaise with internal staffs to ensure 10Q filing can be completedon time.
e. Annually
i. Year-end Audit & 10K filing
1. Liaise with auditor to ensure auditor can be completed within the timeframe
2. To liaise with internal staffs to ensure 10K filing can be completedon time.
3. Others
a. SOP
1. Main PIC to ensure the SOP is completed and ensure team members are following the SOP.
2. To enhance, develop, implement accounting policies and procedures including automation of process to maintain and strengthen internal controls, in order to improve the overall finance operations.
b. MFRS Compliance
i. Main PIC to ensure the team members are following the MFRS.
c. Listing Matter
i. Main PIC to work on the business operation matters (Finance and Legal).
d. Others
i. Ensure and constantly improve the accounting structure and systems soas to enable appropriate financial reporting standard.
ii. Required to engage with departments and subsidiaries within the group and provide guidance on finance and accounting matters.
iii. Identify, Analyze and Implement Process Improvements in operations, reports and KPIs.
iv.To carry out other duties & ad-hoc assignment as and when required by General Manager.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in accountancy or equivalent professional qualifications.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
- At least 5 years of relevant post-qualification work experience and internal controls requirements. (Experience in listing will be advantage)
**Salary**: Up to RM9,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
