Assistant Chinese Sous Chef

Assist the Head Chef in planning, directing, and coordinating food preparation activities.
- Supervise and guide kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Maintain high food hygiene and safety standards in compliance with Malaysian regulations (e.g., JAKIM Halal certification)
- Help in creating and updating Chinese cuisine menus in alignment with seasonal availability and customer preferences.
- Ensure consistent portioning, plating, and food presentation in all dishes.
- Step in and manage the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
- Strong knowledge of traditional and contemporary Chinese cooking techniques.
- Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
