**OVERVIEW**
- Ensure smooth laboratorial operations including manpower arrangement, inventory management, equipment calibration, laboratory upkeep, laboratory testing, data entry, safety surveillance and etc.
- Support Production’s operation in ensuring all the process parameters is within control.
- Support Preshipment / Validation / R&D Team on sampling / testing request.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To assist QA Executive in ensuring that the quality system procedures and work instructions are being implemented successfully.
- To report and investigate on any deviation or nonconformities found during daily inspection.
- Oversee the laboratory testing (production) for any non-conformances and ensure that test done correctly and according to work instruction.
- Verify sample tested by technician to ensure testing accuracy.
- Ensure clear segregation and labelling of testing chemicals and implementation of 5S by subordinates.
- Ensure that there is clear segregation of raw materials in the chemical stores and FIFO system is being followed by Warehouse, Compounding, Post Treatment and Production.
- Inspect on all incoming raw materials that affect the quality of our product. Inform QA Executive and/ or above on any non-conformances.
- Communicate with purchasing, warehouse, compounding, production, R&D in regard to issue found during daily testing.
- Verify the out-going of rejected/2nd Grade gloves by randomly sample the gloves to ensure that these gloves are reject/2nd Grade gloves.
- Visual check on the out-going of coagulum to ensure that only coagulum is taken.
- To monitor usage of laboratory chemicals and consumable to ensure no wastage and within budget.
- To monitor safety & health, attendance, and rest time of subordinates under supervision.
- Ensure that subordinates understand, accept, and follow the company policies, rules and regulations. (Include disciplinary and Safety & Health).
- Provide training and guidance to subordinate in regard to daily activities and identified training needs.
- Monitor the performance of new employees.
- To ensure sufficient equipment provided and equipment used are being maintained to prevent breakdown and within calibration validity.
- Provide training record, duty roster and lab data within established timeframe.

**REQUIREMENTS**

**Education**:

- Diploma or SPM with 2 years working experience or any equivalent.
- Preferably with background in Science.

**Work Experience**:

- Preferably with 1 year of working experience in manufacturing environment.

**Technical and Professional Knowledge**:

- Good Communication Skills in both verbal and written' clear and easy to understand and include listening skills. (Both English and Bahasa Malaysia )
- Supervisory skills.
- Ability to analyse and solve problem.
- Ability to organize, supervise and provide guidance.
- Ability to lead and motivate subordinates.
- Ability to plan.
