**Job Summary**:To assist the Project Manager to plan, organise, direct and control the post order sales activities of Vertiv so that projects are implemented not only in a professional and timely manner but within (or better) than planned budgeted cost without compromising on the quality that is reflective of our standing as a world class company. To supervise and overseeing the appointed vendors’ schedules for the projects to be implemented such that they deliver the quality products and services that is reflective of us as a world class company.To liase with customers, consulting engineers, end users, governmental and non governmental agencies in such a manner that can promote long term relationship and where possible strive for a win-win solution.Other responsibilities include performance and payments and rescheduling and coordinating work to meet project deadlines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, organise, direct and control the projects assigned such that they are not only implemented in a professional and timely manner but within (or better) than budgeted cost without compromising on the quality that is reflective of our standing as a world class company.
- Establish project management plan when required.
- Create electrical panel schematics and/or piping site layout and work closely with vendors to checkout wiring/piping and quickly correct mistakes.
- Supervise the sub-contractors and vendors which we appoint for the projects as implemented such that they deliver the quality products and services that are reflective of us as a world class company.
- Participate and contribute to the development of engineering capabilities by close monitoring and analysis of performance of the sub-contractors and vendors.
- Participate in short, medium
- and long-term project management planning of the company in order to support sustainable profit growth of the business year-on-year.
- To assist Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager to ensure smooth flow of the project implementation - ensure that the project implementation is carried out according to the ISO procedures.
- To assist Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager in delivering set profit margins of projects.
- To assist Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager in achieving the monthly forecasted revenue.
- Provide recommendation or feedback where applicable to clients regarding the appropriate solution to ensure their needs are met and ensure that costs related to any revision in design is anticipated accordingly and presented to the customer, where applicable, as variation claims.
- Act as a professional mentor to less senior specialists and engineers.

**Requirements**:

- A Degree in Engineering fields or equivalent.
- With minimum 5 years working experience in project management & M&E environment such as piping work, electrical work etc.
- Demonstrates ability to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines, and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands;
- Proficient in project planning, management and controlling the project.
- Sound knowledge in MS Office, Access and MS Project.
- Good knowledge in ISO practices.
- Experience in electrical and mechanical panel design and layout.
- Competent in mechanical and electrical fundamentals.
