We are looking for a talented Business Data Analyst / Associate Data Analyst based in Malaysia to join our Franklin Templeton Technology (FTT) - Order Management Execution & Compliance team supporting several mission-critical portfolio management systems with a primary focus on our ETF (exchange-traded fund) business.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of this position?- Ensure the timely delivery of critical investment data required in various portfolio management systems- Conduct business data analysis on data outliers and take required actions to resolve detected cases- Document system data processing workflow as well as detected data incidents- Prepare statistical reports for periodic business data operation review- Interact with portfolio managers, project managers, system developers and/or external data vendors regarding data delivery status, issue escalation and problem solving- Understand and work with data of varying degrees of complexity and scale- Contribute to system user testing and/or system enhancements- Work in a complex, dynamic team environment with mínimal supervision while possessing good organizational skills

What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?- Bachelor’s degree in business, science or social science preferred-
- Prior experience or domain knowledge of the financial industry is preferred; however, a keen willingness to learn and explore new business and technical concepts is mandatory-
- Good knowledge in excel and commonly used office software suite preferred- Solid understanding in commonly used algebra and statistical concepts- Reliable team player with strong oral and written English communication skills- Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills
